Barb Schmidt has studied mindfulness and meditation for over 30 years with teachers around the world including the Dalai Lama XIV, Thich Nhat Hanh, and Jetsuma Tenzin Palmo. In her 2016 workshop series, she will focus on mindful approaches to everyday living, offering practical tools for living a life of meaning, happiness and power in the midst of a world which often times is fast paced and chaotic. Your Resilient Life: Finding Courage and Freedom

Learn how to move away from attachment, clinging, and fear and find courage and freedom. Life is not meant to be lived on “automatic pilot,” this session you will learn practices for embracing change and opening up to all possibilities waiting for you in the present moment.
Each workshop session will be offered on two different days, please choose whichever date works best for your schedule, as the content will be the same. You may register for an individual workshop session or purchase a workshop series of four dates. All sales are final.

The workshops are in the Senate Chambers of the Student Union Building on FAU’s Boca Raton Campus, 777 Glades Road.

From I-95: Exit Glades Road eastbound; turn left onto West University Drive/NW 10th Ave. (main entrance), go straight and turn right into the first parking lot on the right side (Lot 16). The Student Union Building is on the north side of the parking lot.
